This Privacy Policy explains how Vimpixel ("Vimpixel," "we," or "us") handles information related to this website and the tools used to produce and publish educational content.
Information we may process
This website may receive basic technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP address, browser type, device information, access time, and pages viewed. This information may be processed by our hosting, security, performance, and analytics providers when those services are enabled.
When someone contacts us by email, we process the email address and message content to respond to the request and maintain a reasonable record of the communication.
YouTube API Services
Vimpixel uses YouTube Data API Services to manage content for channels authorized by their owner. The integration may be used to:
- upload videos;
- set titles, descriptions, categories, and tags;
- schedule publications;
- upload captions and subtitles;
- upload thumbnails when the account and channel are eligible for that feature.
Access is granted only after the channel owner authorizes the application through Google OAuth. Vimpixel uses information obtained from Google only to perform the requested channel-management functions. Vimpixel does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising profiles, or share it with third parties for unrelated commercial purposes.
Vimpixel does not request or store a Google password. OAuth credentials and tokens are stored with reasonable security measures and are used only for the authorized operation of the project.
Use of YouTube API Services is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Developer Policies, and the Google Privacy Policy.
Revoking access
The account owner can revoke Vimpixel's access from the third-party connections page in their Google Account. The owner may also request disconnection by contacting adncors@gmail.com.
Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain security, respond to requests, and meet legal obligations. OAuth credentials and related tokens are deleted when the integration is revoked, when they are no longer needed, or when the account owner requests deletion, subject to applicable legal requirements.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information related to the integration, contact adncors@gmail.com and identify the relevant account or project.
Third-party services
The website may use hosting, security, analytics, content-delivery, and other third-party services. Each provider may process information under its own privacy policy. External links, including YouTube links, are governed by the policies of the destination service.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No Internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, integrations, or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with its updated date.
